about what, you may ask? well, of course, about my ultra uber exciting life right now. haha. so, guess what i did today? i called dave and lined up my job for the summer (back to edengrove! heck yes!) and i did this with absolutely NO nagging from my mother, BEFORE reading week. pat on the back for me! but i did nag myself for the past few weeks, gotta call dave. gotta call dave. gotta call dave. was a little unsure about asking him for a summer job while i'm planning to hit up italy for 5 weeks....and possibly city/script for a week in april (exam right in the middle! mari, how does that work!?) (and of course i might just be waving goodbye to camp this summer which sucks a lot) (and starting saturdays as early as april! eek! gonna be busy.) aaaanyways, i'm really excited that i got up off my big fat bum and made that phone call. my saturday is now complete. i also made chewy double chocolate cookies today. yet again. they're pretty good this time. if i do say so myself...:D

i bought three cds on thursday with HMV gift cards: jack johnson's curious george and friends (for anton) it's so fun! and, my new fav is sufjan stevens: jack johnson ish but way more polyphonic spree...and he uses a lot of xylophone, and he's a christian. he wins for sure! he's planning to write an album for each of the 50 (?) states in the US. i have illinoise...that's all they had at the store... i also got sigur ros just because i always meant to..( i think i wrote all this in blogspot already. redundant! but excited about new music so NOT redundant!) i like. but still hooked on david crowder of course! aaaah so good
sang in a worship team a few weeks ago, invited to come back and sing again. on tune this time. (for ivcf's NEWT, march 3-5) i'm excited, a little worried because of my rollercoaster singing-ness: one day i'm on tune and loving it, the next i'm not. dunno why! oh well that's what my xylophone is for. and practice on tuesday with dalia! and with jaklyn! want to come sing with us?
so, ensemble evening tomorrow at our new church building. no idea who'll all be there or where they're from, but i'm inviting YOU. 7.30 at 69 flatt road. (woodview learning centre) j vanpopta's going to speak about body mutilation, piercing and tattooing etc. and how we view those things from a covenantal and biblical point of view. i was considering showing up with my new tattoo--but i haven't gotten it yet. hhmm.
i'm not too sure how i think/feel about this yet. right now still going through my perception of the canref church in all its black and whiteness: where do i go from here? i dunno. :) keep praying about it.
